“Sometimes the body holds the stories we’re ready to leave behind. Through movement, touch and release, we can begin to let go.”
You’re in safe hands.

Each client is different, and so is each treatment. I don’t have a routine. I’m not your typical massage therapist. I’m here because im incredibly passionate about the subject and my wish is to help you in any way I can through a set of tools and skills I have. Give it ago and see if its for you.

I specialise in padel players and Pilates, however, whether you are an athlete looking to take your performance to the next level or if you simply struggle with muscular pain in your everyday life . Anyone can benefit from Sports Massage Therapy.
Regardless of your activity level or age, Sports Massage is an effective compliment to muscular maintenance and rehabilitation. Massage is proven to lengthen the muscles, release tension and unlock pain free movement.
It’s also relaxing, which is fantastic for the nervous system.
Built for better performance.
At Mio Nicholson Sports Massage, I believe exceptional recovery should be accessible to everyone, not just elite athletes.
Marbella’s leading sports massage and recovery provider, I’ve built our reputation on delivering the highest standards of treatment, professionalism, and client experience. Trusted by competitive padel players, tour-level golfers, pilates instructors, serious lifters and everyday clients alike, every treatment reflects the same elite standard.
While my experience in professional sport has helped shape the standards behind everything we do, our focus has always remained the same: delivering outstanding results in a welcoming, premium environment where every client receives the same level of expertise, attention, and treatment.
Today, across my clinics in Marbella, Mio continues to set the standard for sports massage and recovery, helping people move better, recover faster, and perform at their best.
I’m particularly fascinated by the emotions we hold within the body and the relationship between our physical patterns, nervous system and emotional wellbeing. I’m heading to the USA to study Myofascial Release using the John Barnes approach, continuing to explore this fascinating connection.
Two books that have deeply influenced my journey are The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle and The Untethered Soul by Michael A. Singer.
And now, what started as my own search has become my mission:
To help you become the strongest, healthiest and most authentic version of yourself in mind, body and spirit.
“Life is the dancer and you are the dance.”
Who am I? I am. My life story is:
Husband. Dad. Dog dad. Cat dad. Gym addict. Student of life.
Before I became the person I am today, I followed a very different path. I’m a qualified Architect and professional pilot. For years, I did what I thought I was supposed to do. I built a successful corporate career and became a Senior Director. On paper, I had “made it.”
But something was missing.
Born in beautiful Finland and raised British, or perhaps somewhere in between. I’ve always been fascinated by what makes us us, the body, the mind, our emotions, our behaviours, and the endless potential we have to grow.
In my twenties, I rebelled against my mum’s alternative ways. Funny how life works… because years later, after my own awakening, I realised that the very things I once resisted were actually part of the path I was meant to walk.
One day, I woke up and realised that the life, body and mind I had created no longer reflected the person I wanted to become.
So I changed everything.
I became obsessed with personal development, devoured hundreds of books, quit alcohol, transformed my relationship with my body and mind, and began exploring the deeper connection between our physical, emotional and spiritual selves.
Now I meditate daily and believe there are countless ways to elevate the mind, body and spirit and that becoming your best self isn’t about perfection. It’s about coming home to who you really are.
